March 2013 LET Results Complete List

This is the complete list of  March 2013 LET Results. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT), through its official website prc.gov.ph, announces that 10,310 elementary teachers out of 37,117 examinees (27.78%) and 15,223 secondary teachers out of 38,433 examinees (39.61%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last March 10, 2013 in 14 testing centers all over the Philippines and Hong Kong.

The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Reynaldo T. Peña and Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Members.

The results of examination with respect to thirty three (33) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on April 29, 2013. The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following: 1) duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal; 2) latest Community Tax Certificate (Cedula); 3) metered documentary stamp for the Oath Form; and 4) the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2013-2016. Successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

March 2013 LET Update


The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 76,230 examinees will be taking the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) on March 10, 2013 in 13 testing centers nationwide and one testing center in Hong Kong.

The Professional Regulation Commission  said that bulk of LET takers comes from the National Capital Region with an estimated 16,815 examinees while 0.72% or 547 examinees will take the exam in Hong Kong.

The Professional Regulation Commission  advises the examinees to be at the designated examination site/center before 7:00AM and to bring their notices of admission, two or more pencils (No.2), ballpens with BLACK INK, one piece metered-stamp window envelope, one piece long brown envelope, and one piece long transparent (non-colored) plastic envelope on examination day.

The testing centers include Manila, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Catarman-Samar, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Hong Kong.

LET March 2013 Update

The Professional Regulation Commission announced that separate test booklets will be used for the General Education (GE) and Professional Education (PE) subjects for both elementary and secondary levels in the March 10, 2013 Board Licensure Examination for professional teachers and succeeding board examinations.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers decided to use separate test booklets for GE and PE subjects in a meeting on January 23, 2013.

The time schedule for the licensure examination for teachers (LET) will be as follows:

  8:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M.  General Education (GE)
10:30 A.M. –   1:30 A.M.  Professional Education (PE)

Presenting the New Members of the Board for Teachers!


Dr. Rosita L. Navarro and Dr. Paz I. Lucido took their oath today before the Professional Regulation Commission.

The PRC announced through their official website that the oath of the new members of the board was administered by PRC Chair Teresita R. Manzala and witnessed by Commissioner Jennifer Jardin-Manalili on January 2, 2013 at the PRC Conference Room in Manila.

About the New Members of the Professional Regulatory Board for Teachers

Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, who replaced Dr. Faith M. Bachiller as chairperson of the board, was the sixth president and former chief academic officer of Centro Escolar University in Manila. She was conferred the Outstanding Professional Teacher by the Professional Regulation Commission and is currently the Dean Emeritus of Graduate School of CEU and the Chairman of Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA).

Dr. Paz I. Lucido, on the other hand, received citations and awards from CEU and UST recognizing her contributions to research and lectures which focused on principles of teaching and instructional technology, the teacher education curricula and other futuristic subjects that relate teacher education to the technologies of learning in the 21st century.
